ABOUT Terri provided mental health services in social service agencies for many years. After 14 years of working with trauma victims, she returned to college and earned credits in fine arts, art history, and English. Terri began combining poetry and art in an effort to create educational and symbolic images, which promoted awareness of minority issues. TERRI HELPS CREATIVE PEOPLE Terri began coaching her art and poetry peers by brainstorming with them, motivating them, and helping them to manage rejection. Terri returned to the mental health field and provided therapy for creative clients including artists, singers, interior designers, songwriters, and poets. Terri used poetry therapy, psychodrama, sand tray therapy, and storytelling in a community mental health outpatient setting to help her clients. Creativity Coaching Association Terri became a member of the Creativity Coaching Association and took coaching classes from Dr. Eric Maisel in 2004. Terri loved spending time with creative people, artists, writers, and designers. She wanted to engage in motivating, brainstorming, and helping creative people transition from the life they had --to the life they wanted. HER OWN BUSINESS Terri started a private Creativity Coaching business in 2004, working with beginners, mid-level professionals, and advanced artists, writers, and designers. She continues to create her own art and poetry in her New Jersey home.
